1. Booking & Retainer
To secure your session date and time, a 20% non-refundable reservation retainer is required at the time of booking. This retainer guarantees that your date is blocked exclusively for you and will be applied toward your total session balance.
2. Rescheduling
Life happens! If you need to reschedule your session, you may do so without penalty by providing at least 48 hours’ notice before your scheduled time. Your 20% retainer will transfer directly to your new date.
- Note: Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a rescheduling fee or loss of retainer, at the photographer’s discretion.
3. Cancellations
If you choose to cancel your session entirely rather than reschedule, or if you fail to show up to your session, the 20% retainer is strictly non-refundable.
4. Inclement Weather Exceptions
If your session is scheduled outdoors and the weather does not cooperate (e.g., heavy rain, extreme winds, or dangerous conditions), the photographer will make the final call to postpone. In the event of a weather-related cancellation:
- We will do our best to find a mutually agreeable reschedule date.
- If a new date cannot be agreed upon due to weather, your retainer will be fully refunded or credited toward a future session.
